Wintry travel conditions through Monday

Posted
and last updated

BOZEMAN – NW flow aloft and a weak disturbance is producing colder temperatures and scattered snow Friday afternoon.

Mountain passes will continue to see snow this evening and a few passes near the Continental Divide could also see fog with reduced visibility.

Plan on slow-go travel conditions tonight into Saturday morning across SW Montana as most mountain passes are likely to see around 1”-3” or more of additional snow tonight.

We will be between storms Saturday afternoon and evening, but another Pacific storm will pass through the state Sunday afternoon through Monday morning.

Monday morning commutes will be impacted with this second storm so plan on longer commute times and watch for snow and ice.
