BOZEMAN – A Pacific cold front continues to pass through Montana Wednesday afternoon producing scattered snow and gusty winds.

At times snow bands are producing brief heavy snow and lower visibilities especially at pass level. Lower valleys continue to see scattered snow showers as well leaving most roads on the wet side Wednesday afternoon.

The front and its associated moisture will continue to track to the East and SE this evening and snow showers should diminish overnight.

Temperatures will be cooler behind this front tonight into Thursday.

Travel hazards will continue through Thursday morning because most roads are wet and will likely turn icy after sunset.
