Today's Forecast:
Light snow for the morning may cause a few issues on area roadways with the possibility of ice or black ice for the morning drive. The light snow won’t likely last real long before fog and clouds clear allowing for plenty of sunshine during the afternoon. Highs will struggle with colder air in place through the next several days. Winds are expected to stay fairly light for your Thursday with winds out of the south between 5-10 mph.

BOZEMAN: High: 31; Low: 10. Light snow is likely for the early part of the day before skies clear during the afternoon. Watch for patchy fog early and bright sunshine for the late afternoon.

BUTTE: High: 28; Low: 4. After a cold and foggy start, our afternoon will remain chilly with highs only in the upper 20s despite plenty of sunshine.

DILLON: High: 27; Low: 4. Cool temperatures are expected today with bands of light snow during the morning. Skies will clear for the afternoon and leave us with chilly sunshine and a chance of fog overnight.

WEST YELLOWSTONE: High: 23; Low: 2. Clearing and cool for your Thursday with patchy fog and light snow possible for the morning.

WEEKEND OUTLOOK:
We have a couple of weak cold fronts trying to work through the area for the weekend that could bring a few more chances of snow to the region. Light snow is possible overnight Friday into Saturday which could leave a light blanket of snow on the ground by Saturday afternoon. Scattered light snow showers are also possible on Sunday.

Next week we have another weak system that could bring some light accumulation of one inch or less New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Highs will be a touch warmer by the middle of the week with daytime temperatures returning to the middle 30s.
