BOZEMAN – Incredible thick fog continues to sit over Bozeman Friday afternoon. In the wake of yesterday’s snow event that produced very wet snow is adding moisture to the lower levels of the atmosphere and helping to produce the thick fog.

There is a good chance that this fog could linger into Friday evening and impact your commute. Thick fog appears to be confined to Bozeman to Manhattan to Gallatin Gateway. At 1:30 pm Bozeman Yellowstone Airport in Belgrade was reporting zero visibility. This will delay flights Friday afternoon and possibly Friday evening.

A weak Pacific system will try and produce a few snow showers over SW Montana Friday night into early Saturday morning. Snow chances are low for most valleys with a slightly higher chance for minor accumulations for mountains and passes.
