WEEKEND SNOW PROJECTIONS
The models are coming together with more reasonable projections for snow in southwest Montana this weekend. The latest data shows that our highs on Saturday will top out in the low 50s as a cold front sweeps into the area. Scattered rain showers are likely through the afternoon and early evening before switching to snow during the evening. There is a good chance that we could see icy conditions by midnight with 2”-4” of snow by 6 AM Sunday. Bands of snow are expected through the morning and afternoon which could push totals between 3”-6” inches for a few valleys and 6”-12” possible in the mountains.
