Snow on track for SW Montana on Sunday

Sunday's Forecast:
A cold front will swing through southwest Montana for your Sunday and will usher much colder air into place along with snow showers. There are Winter Weather Advisories out for the area through Sunday evening. Most valleys can expect 1”-3” with 3”-6” at pass level. The heaviest snow is expected through the early afternoon on Sunday and clearing by Sunday evening.

BOZEMAN: High: 36; Low: 13. Expect a sharp drop in temperatures with scattered snow showers through the early morning and afternoon hours before skies begin to clear for the evening.

BUTTE: High: 36; Low: 9. Light snow before dawn with the heaviest snow for the early afternoon and evening.

DILLON: High: 33; Low: 12. Cooler afternoon with off and on snow showers. Heaviest snow for the afternoon.

WEST YELLOWSTONE: High: 31; Low: 9. Heavy snow at times through the afternoon and early evening.

THIS WEEK’S OUTLOOK:
Temperatures will remain chilly for the beginning of the week with mainly clear skies through Wednesday. Another cold front will swing into the area late in the week and bring several chances of snow starting on Thursday and well into the weekend.
