Mild temperature pattern through next week

BOZEMAN – Numerous warm cored Pacific storms will continue to pass through the Pacific NW over the next 5 to 7 days producing very heavy valley rain and heavy wet mountain snow in Washington State. As these storms move inland, they will weaken.

At times some of this warm moist air will pass through Montana. Several rounds or waves of moisture could produce scattered mountain snow and lower valleys could see a rain/snow mix at times.

Snow accumulations with each passing disturbance could dump several inches and that will add up over time.

Travel impacts should be minor with the greatest concerns for mountain passes with periods of off-and-on snow. Lower valleys could see brief periods (very isolated) of pockets of freezing rain.

Watch the above video forecast with Chief Meteorologist Mike Heard to see the timing of possible showers over the next 7 days.
