BUTTE – Greatest weather concern Wednesday is stronger surface winds across Montana. A mostly dry cold front is passing through the state along with a stronger upper-level jet stream is producing stronger surface winds.
Low humidity values, stronger surface winds, and temperatures in the upper 80s have increased fire danger across the region through 10 pm tonight.
FIRE WEATHER WARNING
The National Weather Service has a FIRE WEATHER WARNING up through 10 pm tonight for most of Central and Northern Montana but it does extend as far South as Bozeman.
Use extreme caution with all outdoor activities.
