BUTTE – Warm and dry for your Thursday but a pattern change is coming beginning Friday with bigger impacts late weekend into early next week.

A deep trough of Low pressure will begin to dig into the western U.S. Friday and will be centered over the Northern and Central Rockies by early next week.

This will bring increasing moisture and well below normal temperatures across the entire region. Snow levels could drop down to some valley floors in the colder overnight hours this weekend through Wednesday of next week. Mountain passes will likely see snow accumulations and possible wintry travel conditions.
