BUTTE – Next weather maker rolls in this weekend keeping our weather pattern cooler than normal and producing additional valley rain and mountain snow. There could be some minor travel concerns Saturday evening into Sunday morning with lowering snow levels and icy roads over mountain passes.

City by City Forecast:

BOZEMAN: LOW: 34°; HIGH SATURDAY: 44°. Cool and dry this evening with light winds. Saturday should be mostly cloudy with scattered rain or snow and NW winds 10 to 20 mph by afternoon. Snow is likely to accumulate above 5,500′ and 2″-4″ is possible.

BUTTE: LOW: 30°; HIGH SATURDAY: 46°. Partly cloudy and cold tonight with patchy fog possible by Saturday morning. Scattered rain or snow is likely Saturday. Mountain snow accumulations are also likely Saturday into Sunday. Butte could see rain change to snow by Sunday morning.

DILLON: LOW: 30°; HIGH SATURDAY: 42°. Partly cloudy tonight and frosty. Saturday increasing clouds with off and on showers. Mountain snow is likely. Afternoon NW winds 10 to 20 mph.

WEST YELLOWSTONE: LOW: 25°; HIGH SATURDAY: 42°. Partly cloudy and cold tonight. Saturday watch for scattered rain or snow with accumulating snow likely Saturday evening into Sunday morning.
