Improved Air Quality For Now With Cooler Air Coming

Today’s Forecast:
Cooler air has moved into the area bringing us much-improved air quality to southwest Montana for now.  Highs on Tuesday will stay in the 60s with clearing sky by the afternoon.  Expect another crisp and clear evening.

BOZEMAN: High – 66; Low – 45. Skies will slowly clear for the afternoon with mainly clear conditions continuing for the evening.

BUTTE: High – 67; Low – 43. Cool and quiet for the afternoon as skies clear for the afternoon.

DILLON: High – 67; Low – 40. Mild and quiet with light wind for the afternoon.

WEST YELLOWSTONE: High – 68; Low – 33. Mild and sunny by the afternoon with a few clouds lingering in the area.

LONG TERM TREND: 
The forecast is trending cooler and slightly above average for rainfall during the last part of August and first few days of September.  While the trend is for cooler temperatures, the rest of the week will warm slightly by the end of the week.  Highs will top out in the 80s by Thursday and should hold there into the first part of the weekend.
