Montana’s Block Management program is a great example of the important partnerships between private landowners and Montana’s hunting community. Morgan Jacobsen told Montana This Morning’s Chet Layman during This Week in Fish & Wildlife that these lands have special rules and those rules sometimes change.
Jacobsen says it’s important for hunters to use the regulations or go to fwp.mt.gov for the latest updates to those rules.
One item he stressed during the segment is that Block Management lands are only open to licensed hunters. These lands are not open to recreational hiking, cycling or even target shooting.
