MHP ‘eternally thankful’ to have Palmer and Blanchard home

Montana Highway Patrol shared a picture of Trooper Wade Palmer and Casey Blanchard back home in Montana.

Blanchard was shot on March 14 in Missoula when he exited his vehicle to check on a motorist who he thought needed help.

Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Wade Palmer was shot attempting to locate the same suspect who injured Blanchard, his mother, and killed Shelley Hays.

Trooper Palmer returned home from Salt Lake City last week.

Blanchard returned home on Saturday, June 1.
