A Great Falls native is bringing her Instagram campaign into a physical form.

From social media to now in person, Tahnee Peppenger will host a fitness event in Great Falls on Saturday, March 9 called #PeppTalk.

Although Peppenger has always been an active person, her fitness journey started while she was preparing to compete for Miss Montana USA 2015.

Her Instagram account highlights her journey and also helps her communicate with people wanting to learn more.

But, she wanted to expand that communication even more by holding a #PeppTalk event in person.

#PeppTalk is a wellness event focused on positivity and health where you will learn about fitness, nutrition, and lifestyle.

Peppenger said, “I believe people single-handedly can command their own life in the direction which they’re going. I also believe that we have direct control of achieving our goals. But, it really comes down to your mindset.”

If you do not think you can enter that road to fitness, she suggests finding a community. For example, she’s passionately involved with the CrossFit community.

Peppenger believes the key to sticking to her lifestyle routine is discipline.

She added, “At the end of the day, every human body is meant to move. We are capable of a lot more than what we actually think we are.”

The #PeppTalk event is based upon her lifestyle on how she’s been able to create such a positive and healthy way of life, but she will also have a panel of fitness and wellness gurus at the event to share their knowledge and experience.

Peppenger is passionate about all things Montana, including hiking, being on the river, and horseback riding.

She said, “Instagram really became a solid platform for me to just communicate with people and I took it seriously when people started communicating back with me. I want to be able to share my experiences to hopefully help someone else out. The more people I can share my information with, the more lives I can touch and that’s ultimately my goal.”

#PeppTalk will be held on March 9 at 12 p.m. at Speaking Socially, which is located at 1st Avenue North in Great Falls.

Tickets are available to buy through 8 a.m. on March 9.

Peppenger hopes to hold more #PeppTalk events in Great Falls, across the state, and possibly one day across the country.
