GREAT FALLS – If you have ever wanted to be a professional firefighter in Montana, time is running out to register for the annual testing.
Montana Firefighter Testing Consortium is testing for ten Montana cities and districts, including the Billings Fire Department, Bozeman Fire Department, Havre Fire Department, Butte Fire Department, Great Falls Fire Rescue, Helena Fire Department, Central Valley Fire District, Miles City Fire Department, Missoula Fire Department, Missoula Rural Fire District, and Big Sky Fire Department.
The registration for the May 20-23 testing closes at 5:00 p.m. on March 15.
During the consortium, there is a written test and then a physical test.
The testing is held once a year, and those who pass are eligible for hire until the next year’s testing.
