UPDATE
BOZEMAN, Mont. – One man is dead after a Friday evening vehicle crash on MT84 in Madison County.
According to Montana Highway Patrol, around 5:12 p.m. a semi-truck was traveling westbound on MT84 near mile marker 7 when it started to turn right around a corner, overcorrected, and crashed head-on into an Isuzu delivery truck.
The driver of the semi, a 32-year-old man from Richmond, VA, died at the scene.
The Isuzu truck was driven by a 27-year-old Bozeman man who was taken to Bozeman Health due to injuries. Another 27-year-old man from Belgrade was a passenger in the delivery truck. He was also taken to the hospital as a precaution and was released.
MHP said speed appears to be the only factor in the crash. Everyone was wearing their seatbelts.
