BUTTE - The opening day for Butte's outdoor swimming pool at Stodden Park has been pushed back a week.
Ridge Waters was expected to open this week, but recent snowy weather and some additional maintenance issues forced officials to postpone the opening another week.
“The weather hurt us a little bit here on being able to train staff but also being able to get everything ready, so it's taking a little more time to make sure we have a safe facility when people come,” said Parks and Recreation Director J.P. Gallagher.
The pool will now open at noon on Friday, June 19.
