The Montana Highway Patrol is participating in a fundraiser for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month called the Pink Patch Project.
Every year since 2013, police departments across the country have worn pink patches on their uniforms to raise awareness for people battling breast cancer.
The Montana Highway Patrol is the only department in the state participating this year, and they want you to get involved.
For $5, you can purchase one of their patches from the Association of Montana State Troopers, and half of the proceeds will go to breast cancer charity.

According to the CDC, about 250,000 cases of breast cancer are diagnosed in women and about 2,300 in men in the United States.
So every dollar raised, no matter how small, helps to save a life and find a cure.
