Missoula taekwondo studio takes teaching online

We recently told you how the YMCA is attempting to keep Missoulians healthy and active during the stay at home order.

Well, one taekwondo studio in Missoula is doing the same! A few weeks ago, Tim Bramblett was teaching students at his martial arts studio.

But since COVID-19 has spread to Montana, Bramlett and his students have had to meet online instead.

Not only is Bramblett keeping the kids active but is now offering a free class at Big Sky Taekwondo to any age to try to keep the community fit.

"My favorite analogy I've heard is we are building the plane while we are flying it. Fortunately, with the ATA, I have a lot of other school owners across the country I am able to talk with and ask questions on,” Bramblett said.

“There's a lot of us out there that are kind of pivoting and switching our business plan to help other people. And that's what we do as martial artists,” he added. “We focus on health and safety, right now the biggest health issue is not sitting on the couch all day long."
