BUTTE — Butte's School District will come up with a proposal on whether it will continue teaching classes from home or reopen the schools after May 7th, as the governor announced Wednesday.
The superintendent will meet with school principals and teachers before coming up with a recommendation that will have to be approved by the school board.
“We're going to do a lot of table-talk discussions, have plan A, B, C and D, and really look it over and make the best decision, and really, frankly, this is all about kids and what's best for kids,” said Superintendent Judy Jonart.
Jonart said the proposed plan will be made public to parents sometime next week before the school board votes on it.
