BUTTE - Butte's library is ready to start letting the public back in the building, but with some restrictions.

The first floor of the library will be open to the public, but only five people may enter at a time.

You can use computers or browse the shelves for just 30 minutes at a time.

It will be open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

“We're really excited to get the public back in the building. We've been doing a lot of curbside while we were closed; we're going to continue doing that until it quits being popular, so if you just need a book to read and you don't want to get out of the car, we'll bring it out to you,” said Library Director Stef Johnson.

The children's area in the library will remain closed until further notice.
