BUTTE – A hearing will be held this week to determine if a truck stop that plans to locate in Ramsay can get a license to sell alcohol.
The Butte Archives will host the hearing by the Montana Department of Revenue to hear arguments for and against the request for a liquor license from Love’s Travel Stops that plans to open a store in Ramsay.
Many residents from the small community west of Butte object to the truck stop moving there.
The hearing will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday at the archives building at 17 West Quartz Street.
