BUTTE, Mont. – The Montana Department of Environmental Quality currently ranked Butte’s air quality as “unhealthy for sensitive groups.” Smoke from Canadian wildfires is pouring into Montana due to the current jetstream pattern.

According to the website, active children and adults, and people with respiratory disease, such as asthma, should limit prolonged outdoor exertion.
