BUTTE – The Stokes Market grocery store in Butte will close by the end of May, according to store management.
Management said it plans to close the grocery store and then expand its True Value Hardware store, which is adjacent to the grocery store.
Stokes Market, located at 1301 Harrison Ave., first opened in March 2015. The store will begin liquidation sales on May 1.
Management plans to double the size of the hardware store into the grocery store location.
