BUTTE – The chancellor of Montana Tech will be leaving his post as head of the Butte university next summer.
Don Blackketter is expected to officially announce his retirement at noon Monday in the student union’s Copper Lounge. His last day will be July 1, 2019.
The Commissioner of Higher Education Clayton Christian will be in attendance to discuss the search process.
Blackketter has been chancellor at Montana Tech since June 2011.
