A suspect in a Billings shooting death was arrested Tuesday in Idaho, according to Billings police.
Benial Davis, 37 of Billings, was stopped by Idaho State Police while traveling in a vehicle on Interstate 90 outside of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, Billings Police Lt. Brandon Wooley said in a news release.
Davis is being held at the Kootenai County Correctional Facility on a deliberate homicide warrant for his arrest in Yellowstone County, according to Wooley.
Davis is a suspect in the shooting of Waylon Bearground, 30 of Lame Deer, on the 4100 block of King Avenue East on Sunday. Bearground later died at the hospital.
Billings police are coordinating with Idaho State Police and continuing to investigate.
