One man is dead in a shooting Friday night involving a Montana Highway Patrol trooper on Interstate 90 in Stillwater County.
Few details were available on the shooting that took place at 6:50 p.m. on the westbound lanes of Interstate 90, other than that the trooper was not injured.
An investigation is underway, and the Stillwater County Sheriff's Office has requested assistance of the Montana Division of Criminal Investigation.
