MISSOULA — A Dixon man was found guilty of killing two people and injuring a third person in a Missoula hotel in October 2018.

A Missoula jury found Preston Rossbach, 19, guilty on Tuesday of two counts of deliberate homicide in the deaths of Jason Flink, 23, and Megan Mclaughlin, 31.

Rossbach was also convicted of assault with a weapon, tampering with evidence, two counts of intimidation.

The case went to the jury Friday around lunchtime.

It was two grueling weeks for the jury, viewing bodycam footage, seeing evidence, and hearing hours of witness statements.

Flink and Mclaughlin were found dead in a West Broadway motel room on Oct. 18, 2018.

They were allegedly shot by co-defendant Johnathan Whitworth in what the prosecution says was an attempted drug-related robbery.

Prosecutors proved that Rossbach followed through by stabbing the victims.

Rossbach's sentencing is scheduled for July 10.

Whitworth's trial is scheduled for April.
