Montana State Prison escapee still at large Sunday

UPDATE: According to the Montana Department of Corrections Facebook page, the search continues Sunday for escaped inmate Preston Scott Tucker. Tucker was not accounted for at the prison's Work Re-entry Center as of 8 a.m. Saturday morning.

The Powell County Sheriff’s Office, Granite County Sheriff’s Office, Anaconda Deer Lodge County Law Enforcement, and Montana Highway Patrol are involved in the search along with the Montana State Prison.

Tucker should not be approached, and anyone with information about his location is asked to call 911 or your local Law Enforcement.

The Montana Department of Corrections confirms it is looking for an escapee from the Work Re-entry Center at Montana State Prison in Deer Lodge.

According to a press release, prison staff discovered Preston Scott Tucker was not accounted for at the facility as of 8 a.m. Saturday.

The Department of Corrections initiated emergency procedures and notified law enforcement agencies in the area.

"The DOC considers any escapee dangerous and urges you to contact local law enforcement if you have any information regarding this offender," the press release said.

Tucker was last seen wearing blue jeans and white T-shirt. He is 5 feet, 11 inches with brown hair and blue eyes.

Tucker has felony convictions in Yellowstone County for stalking, burglary, and violation of an order of protection.
