MHP pursuit reaches 100 mph in Billings Saturday night

A suspect fled on foot after a black Hundai GT V6 led Montana Highway patrol on a chase through Billings Saturday around 10:15 p.m., according to MHP Trooper Parker.

The chase ended in front of a residence at 3521 Granger Ave. S after Parker hit the suspect vehicle with his patrol car, Parker said.

The suspect fled on foot and was not apprehended. Parker was uninjured.

Parker would not say what made him try to pull the suspect vehicle over.

On scene, Q2 observed the vehicle did not have license plates on the front or back.

Parker said the chase started on 24th Street West and went on King Avenue West, among other streets, before ending.

Speeds reached of 100 miles per hour during the chase, Parker said.
