BUTTE - Butte police are still trying to find out who vandalized a statue on the campus of Montana Tech over the weekend.
Graffiti was written on the statue of Butte copper king Marcus Daly, demanding the statue be torn down.
Police suspect the vandalism occurred sometime late Friday or early Saturday but have no suspects.
The graffiti has since been removed from the statue, which was erected on the campus in 1906.
