BUTTE, Mont. – Butte election officials are warning voters about another mailer that has bad information about mailing in ballots.
Butte Clerk and Recorder Sally Hollis said a Republican Party-sponsored mailer incorrectly states that mailed out ballots will be counted even if they come in 10 days after election day on Nov. 6. She said all mailed-in ballots must be received before 8 p.m. on Nov. 6 or they won’t be counted.
“Make sure you have your ballot to the Civic Center or to the voting places throughout the county by 8 o’clock on election day,” said Hollis.
Hollis recommends people mail in the ballots several days before the Nov. 6 election.
