Natural Horsemanship is one of Montana Western ’ s more unusual classroom offerings.
Eric Hoffman is an instructor with the Montana Center for Horsemanship . He talked with Montana This Morning’s Chet Layman as part of the bi-monthly check in with the Dillon campus.
Hoffman says the Montana Center for Horsemanship works in cooperation with Montana Western to offer this unique program where students join the program with their horses.
Through the four year program they learn various skills and then, in turn can teach and share those skills with others. According to Hoffman The Montana Center for Horsemanship teaches the "La Cense Method," which was developed by William Kriegel, owner of La Cense Montana and Haras de la Cense in France. William Kriegel is also co-founder of Montana Center for Horsemanship.
