BUTTE – Relentless snow will continue into Thursday and begin to diminish on Friday. What comes after that is another blast of Arctic air this weekend into early next week.
Forecast temperatures will be well below zero and wind chills could be extremely cold by Monday morning.
Forecast lows Sunday through Tuesday could fall between -10 below to -35 below zero. The combination of all this new snow on the ground, clearing skies and a surge of Arctic air could bring some of the coldest lows this winter season and possibly near record lows by Monday morning.
