BOZEMAN- The entrepreneurship program at Montana State University has a new director, but he is a familiar face.
Trevor Huffmaster is now the Director of the Blackstone LaunchPad. He has been serving as the Interim Director of the program since 2017.
Blackstone LaunchPad began at the university in 2013 and is a business tool for students.
Students are able to come in with business ideas and the program is designed to help them through the details and planning process to make their idea become a reality.
Huffmaster said it was a good transition for him into this permanent role and he sees a bright future ahead for the program.
“We’re really excited to take the Blackstone Launchpad to the next level. We had some amazing successes over the years and we have an awesome opportunity to really do some great things in Bozeman and Montana with our students, faculty, staff, and alumni here at Montana State University,” Huffmaster said.
Huffmaster said he is looking forward to seeing students continue to succeed at the Blackstone Launchpad.
