Obituary: Robert “Bob” L. Wells

Robert “Bob” L. Wells passed away September 5, 2017, in Bozeman, MT.  He was born May 22, 1949, to Cecil and Fern (Siefert) Wells in Billings, MT.  He graduated from Bozeman High School in 1967 and went on to attend Montana State University. 

He later met Roberta “Bobbie” Cavanaugh, and they were married June 14, 1980, in Bozeman.

Bob was a mechanic at the Ridge Athletic Club, the owner of Vet Construction, worked with his wife at Advantage Mailings and was a rural letter carrier in Belgrade.  He was also the assistant superintendent for the Bozeman Wastewater Treatment Plant and retired at the age of 49.

He enjoyed Walleye fishing, boating at Canyon Ferry, cooking, making repairs around the house, gardening, and was President of the Bozeman Homeowners Association.  Bob loved it all, was a lifetime learner, a Jack-of-all-trades and would help out anyone who needed it.

He is survived by his wife, Bobbie; and sister, Sandy (Michael) Hudson. 

Military Honors will be held Friday, September 15th at 2 p.m. at the Veterans Wall at Sunset Hills Cemetery.  Reception to follow at Dokken-Nelson Funeral Service.
