HAMILTON — The investigation into a fire last summer at a Corvallis apartment complex that killed three people continues with detectives using a significant amount of electronic data to follow up on leads.

The Ravalli County Sheriff’s Office reports that two detectives and a civilian investigator have made progress through several interviews and technical data analysis.

Three people died in the fire, which occurred on July 6 at an apartment complex on Main Street in Corvallis.

Ravalli County Sheriff Steve Holton told MTN News last year that the incident was being investigated as “suspicious” since authorities were unable to pinpoint an origin.

But now, Holton reports that detectives believe there is more information that has not been brought forward and asks that anyone with any knowledge to contact the Ravalli County Sheriff’s Office at (406) 375-4060.
