BUTTE, Mont. – Butte police and SWAT had a 3-hour standoff with a fugitive who barricaded himself inside a residence on Mercury Street near Washington Street Sunday evening.
The standoff ended about 7:30 p.m. Sunday after SWAT team apprehended the man inside the home. The wanted man is in custody and no injuries were reported.
Butte police will give more details Monday.
