Man arrested in Butte restaurant burglary

BUTTE, Mont. – A 52-year-old man faces a felony burglary charge after allegedly breaking into at least two restaurants in Butte over the weekend.

Police say Robert Hudson illegally entered Metals Bar and Grill and the Park 217 restaurant sometime late Friday or early Saturday.

Hudson is also accused of drinking from bottles of wine and beer and damaging the interior while in Park 217.

He’s also accused of damaging the outside of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union building on Silver Street.

He remains in custody Wednesday.
