It started in Wisconsin and after touring 73 cities, it's headed for Butte.

It's the Patriot flag and will hit the lower 48 states in 100 days for a total of 14,000 miles to honor soldiers wounded in action.

The flag will be received at Copper Canyon Harley Davidson Wednesday evening at 4:30 and members of the Mile High HOG Chapter will ride it into Belgrade Thursday morning at 9:30.

The purpose of the ride is to raise money for wounded American Veterans and their families.

Bill Brancamp, events coordinator for the Mile High HOG Chapter says he is a vet and has seen first-hand injuries sustained and how much it impacts not only the soldier but family as well.

"You know they're in rough shape. They've been blown up by IEDs and so on... they need a lot of help. That's what it's all about," said Brancamp.

The flag will return to Oconomowoc, Wisconsin on Sept. 1.
